Use Fieldnote offline

Tours stream as you walk and keep playing through brief signal drops once loaded. Fieldnote+ adds full offline downloads, useful before flights, roaming dead zones, and off-grid walks.

Save a tour before a trip

  1. Open the tour while you still have data or Wi-Fi.
  2. Use the offline download option if you are on Fieldnote+.
  3. Keep the app installed and signed in until after the walk.

Travel data

The app includes an Airalo eSIM tab for local data in supported destinations. Offline downloads are still the simplest option for full off-grid walks.
